Exciting News from the Tim Atkin MW South Africa Special Report 2025!
 
Champion wine critic, Master of Wine, wine journalist and photographer from the UK, Tim Atkin, has just released his 13th annual report on South African wine. For this year’s report, Tim has visited South Africa twice over the last couple of months, tasting an incredible 2,000 wines from 397 wineries. We’re thrilled to announce that the new vintages of our Constantia Glen wines have received fantastic results:

The Constantia Glen FIVE 2022 and Constantia Glen TWO 2023 both scored an outstanding 94 points. Constantia Glen THREE 2022 earned 93 points, and the Constantia Glen Sauvignon Blanc 2024 received 91 points.

Not only have we had amazing ratings from Tim Atkin, but a couple of months ago, we had Master of Wine, Greg Sherwood, taste our wines at a Constantia Wine Route Masterclass event.

Originally from South Africa and now based in London, Greg Sherwood is an accomplished wine consultant, buyer, Master of Wine and wine judge with deep knowledge, particularly in South African wines. Greg wrote an interesting article describing his experience and views on Constantia wines, and with that, rated the wines in the tasting line-up.

Greg Sherwood rated the Constantia Glen FIVE 2022 96 points, Constantia Glen THREE 2022 94+ points, and the Constantia Glen TWO 2023 92 points.

We are incredibly proud to share these wonderful recognitions from two highly respected Masters of Wine. It’s a true testament to the passion and care that goes into every bottle of Constantia Glen.
