Constantia Glen TWO 2024 winning the IWC South African White Wine Trophy

IWC Trophy Win for the Constantia Glen TWO 2024

We are immensely proud to share the wonderful news that our Constantia Glen TWO 2024 has been awarded the South African White Wine Trophy at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2026.

Scoring 95 points and awarded a Gold medal, the Constantia Glen TWO 2024 was then crowned as the best white wine from South Africa in the competition during the trophy announcements last week. It is a truly exciting honour for our team!

The IWC tasting note captures the essence of our Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon blend beautifully: “Super linear nose with intense greengage and lime characters followed by surprising richness on the palate. Layers of flavour with perfect balance and length.”

The Constantia Glen TWO 2024 is our signature Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon blend, crafted from grapes grown on our mountain slopes in the Constantia Valley. Our cool, south-facing vineyards and the Cape Peninsula breeze create the ideal conditions for the variety’s signature freshness and complexity. The 2024 vintage reflects a growing season of exceptional balance, with cool nights preserving natural acidity and allowing the grapes to develop full flavour expression before harvest.

The IWC is one of the world’s most respected wine competitions, held annually in London with wines assessed blind by an expert panel of Masters of Wine and leading industry professionals. Competing against white wines from across the globe, we are truly honoured to have been awarded Gold and the South African White Wine Trophy at IWC 2026.

The Constantia Glen TWO 2024 is due for release at the beginning of July. We look forward to sharing this award-winning vintage with you!
