Tyan Odendal, a singer/songwriter hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, has been immersed in the world of music since the age of 16. His musical journey began with bands like The Ballistics and Dog Town, where he explored a fusion of Blues and Indie music.

As his passion for music grew, Tyan formed his band, The Vanilla, which later secured a deal with Sony Music, steering towards an Afrikaans-Pop direction. Following an exciting chapter of tours, festivals, and sharing stages with renowned artists, Tyan took a decisive step into a solo career, performing under the name “TYAN.” In this solo venture, he embraces a more acoustic and alternative pop sound.
